I'm Blue
And I'm not talking about her eyes. For a couple of weeks Miss Em has been getting into something that makes her blue. At first I thought it was a marker, but as we searched the house there were none at her level. It happened a second time and I was totally confused as to what she was getting into. This morning she was caught red handed or shall I say blue handed. Sorry I couldn't help it.
What's turning her blue is a CD cover. A cardboard one that the kids got in a Happy Meal . Mystery solved , CD cover gone!!! Unfortunately the blue doesn't wash off very easily so she'll be sporting this lovely shade for the rest of the day.
P.S I'm sending out one more plea for help to get my button right ( you can see it in my sidebar). If someone knows what I need to do so others can grab it I would appreciate it. My computer programmer by trade hubby is stumped by this one!
No matter how hard you try to stay ahead of the little ones . . . . . . . . .LOL

Love that title! That is so funny, well sort of. I am a bit upset that the CD cover will do that. They make it for kids and then it gets all over them, is that even safe? Geesh! Glad you found the mystery though, I can imagine it was quite confusing. I mean, I would have thought marker too, but with none around um, like what is that?? LOL Glad her "blue" days are over...at least until she really finds markers...but then maybe that will be red day, or purple day! :)
ReplyDeleteThere was another culprit in the making of the blue baby, I found out after I published the post. Someone had used blue marker on the cover of the CD. so not actually the CD's fault.
ReplyDeleteWell isn't that what every kid will do is get into something blue or red or black at some point in their lives. This brings back so many fun memories. I love it!! This little gal is going to give you a run for your money, let me tell you. I can't wait to hear of what else she gets into. Hugs
ReplyDeleteoh my. she is too cute in blue. glad you found out what it was.
ReplyDeleteSweet little girl looks darling, even with her blue touches!
ReplyDeleteThat is to funny. We had a blue CD in our meal at Chick Fil a. I'm glad I threw it away as I know Sam would of tried to eat it, slobbered on it and became blue as well. What a cutie.
ReplyDeleteReading all these blogs (and especially Emelia's) is so reassuring. That she gets into/causes as much trouble as a "typical" kid just feels so right. It helps me to relax and let go and let Tomas' life unfold at will. BTW, congratulations to Bella on her First Reconciliation, I love the idea of the sackcloth.
ReplyDeleteBlue is adorable!
