Thankful Sunday

Another oldie but goodie. The funny thing is, she is still wearing that shirt almost a year later.

Today I'm digging deep on the thankfulness. My step daughter could use prayers, a lot actually. She is in a difficult situation. Can't really go into it right now. If you all could just please keep her in mind this week.

So what am I thankful for today...

My hubby putting dirty dishes into the dishwasher, as I write this. That's freaky.

I found ten bucks in the dryer this morning!

Tacos! Always a quick and good dinner that everyone actually will eat, Emmie included. she looked so cute holding her own soft taco and stuffing her face. If I had a camera this is where I would insert a photo of that , LOL

Speaking of cameras I am thankful that we do have our old one. I just don't get that instant gratification of being able to upload them to my posts.

Thankful for the giggles I hear right now as Andrew is playing with Emmie.

And I'm thankful I took the time to post this. sometimes it takes me a while to think of something, but even the tiniest of things are worth being thankful for, especially when it's been a tough day or week or month...LOL

* please keep Aniela in your prayers.

Love that your hubby helped with the dishes & I'm glad you found things to be thankful for. Made me think about things I'm thankful for too.

  7. What a nice post about being thankful for everyday things. Your hubby doesn't usually help with dishes? Whoa, that's a big one then :-) Prayers for your step daughter, too.

  8. Keeping Aniela in my prayers...I hope this difficult period blows over really fast and whatever she is going through is a distant memory soon.
I love love that picture of Emmie, you really saved it for a rainy day but thankful that you have a few spares to tide us over till you get your camera fixed or a new one. I'm in pretty much the same state with my camera right now.
I really think it's great that you take the time out to write your thankful post no matter how rough a day/week you've had and I so enjoy reading them.
