Update!!!
Just had to add this update before I went to bed, I mentioned that the fire department had us on "the list" and we were number twenty! That was yesterday morning. And considering the severe problems out their, they were kept busy, to say the least. Well at 8:48pm , true to their word those sweet firemen were knocking at our door to see how we were doing! We got the thumbs up to put the heat on and the hot water. WHOOHOO!
OMG, I was thinking of you when I was watching the news!! I was wondering if you were on the evacuation list. So glad that your not. I'm so sorry for water damage to your home. We had lots of flooding too (after all, we are only about 20 minutes from you). Highways were closed, side streets a mess and the park near our house had one side completely blocked off (which happens to be my route to the kids preschool/daycare)!! Ugh!! Thank goodness we are suppose to have a sunny and warm weekend. I guess we should enjoy it while we can.....more rain expected Monday...SERIOUSLY??!! The footage on the news was crazy of your area.....glad you posted the links for others to see......what a mess!! I'm glad your heat and hot water are back on!! Hang in there:)
Oh you poor thing! What a lot of water. I hope you dry out fast and without much damamge. No more rain!! We had mold in our carpets one year after 3 hurricanes hit, it was awful.
Wow! Hope things remain ok!
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot you were in Rhode Island. I was just watching the Toady show talking about the flooding. I hope your house doesn't have too much damage!
