Emilia Faith Signing????

This week Miss Em decided that signing may be kind of fun. I even managed to capture her showing off.

Here she is signing book, ball, hat, and if you look closely you'll see Daddy. You can look until your eyes cross and you will not see mama!!! Of course not!! The one who cooks and cleans and feeds, changes, teaches, wipes noses, plays, hugs, and keeps it all together doesn't need a sign!!

I have a slight issue about this, but I know Miss Em won't let me down!!! She's just waiting for the right time to spring it on me. Maybe she'll sign it and say it at the same time! When she does you ALL will know. Meanwhile I am overjoyed with her progress

  3. That's Awesome! Emily is still stubborn on signing...every now and then she will do "more" or "all-done" but that's about all!

  5. Great job Em! But, you better work hard on saying "Momma!"

I'd say that she is saying "rainbow" when she opens her arms up wide over her head.

    She is precious!!!

  7. Oh,my,I could just squeeze her!!!What a cutie!!! Ruby's first word was daddy, yeah, thanks. :) She will say momma now though and I just love hearing her say it.She usually has to be in distress to call me though.Like when her therapists take her down the hall and she can't see me.

  8. I just loved it!! It's so wonderful everytime I see one of 'our' kids in action, feels like we're closer. And Emmie is such a clever little girl, she is doing so great. Way to go Miss Emmie keep it up! I loved that other thing she kept doing, the one you weren't too sure of yourself, really beautiful, like some kidn of dance. Maybe she's been watching her sisters practicing their ballet???

  12. Steph, I used to cry when Lillian was younger bc she wouldn't do things for me that she would do for everyone else...I used to think she didn't even recognize me as her Mama...this post makes me grin, bc you are right. Progress is progress and these little Ladies' just want to keep their MOTY's on their toes...LOL

  15. I LOVE seeing her in action. So,so darling and my favorite is the thing you don't know what she is saying because SHE knows what she is saying and it is done with such expression and so absolutely purposeful. As more Momma...Zoey hears him come through the door and signs dad and she see's him and signs dad and me ... nada.Stubborn.Like her mom.

Much love from us all.Oh and the picture of Andrew below ... that could Joe.You have seen him prone like that many, many times. They play so hard that when they are out they are out!
