One Year Ago...

She is just really enjoying dinner! A bubble followed immediately!

One year ago today I became an official blogger! hehe . I just reread my first post "This is Us". I can't believe I wrote that a year ago.

It's been an emotional year. Ups and downs and all arounds! LOL
You all have been my life line, my shoulder to lean on, my go to people when I need a prayer, my how to people when I needed a "button". My Christmas card list got longer this year and my heart became fuller.

It is an absolute honor to travel this journey with each and everyone of you! And I am amazed at how incredibly close people can become without ever actually meeting. In the course of this year I have rejoiced in new births! Wished countless birthday blessings, and in the last few months, quite a few congratulations went out to all of the moms that are expecting new ones this year! I've prayed for you, I've laughed with you, and I have mourned with you.
Kindred spirits are you all.

I initially started this blog with the intent to help others. I know how lost I felt when we first found out about Emilia. There were no support groups looking for me. No comfort from the doctors. No one really knew how I felt... except all of you!

I never expected this blog to become so helpful to me.It is still my intentions to help others. I pray that God will guide the people who need to see my blog to me. It would be a wonderful thing to ease the fears of an expectant mother. I worried throughout my pregnancy and because of that all the joy was taken away from me. It didn't have to be that way.

So to all of you who have been with me from day one , Thank you!! To all the new friends I have made who actually find an interest in my blog and follow, thank you! To all of you who have fallen in love with my Emilia, thank you! To all of you that I follow and stumbled upon, thank you for sharing your lives with us. Thank you for making a difference!

And finally, thank you for welcoming me into this wonderful club!!! I don't know what I would do without each and every one of you! I truly mean that. You each bring something unique with you. I value every one of you, and am blessed to call you friends!

((HUGS)) Stephanie! What a sweet post.....and very relatable! I am so happy that I stumbled across your blog when I did....it helped in so many ways (so, your mission was accomplished). I am sure that you have touched so many families in so many ways. And, THANK YOU, for sharing your family.....and that precious little Emilia of yours.

Although we started off as blogging buddies, I am so thrilled that you live so close, and that Landon and Emilia (and their mommy's too) will finally get to meet in person. I am excited to watch our friendship bloom!!

Congrats on your 1 year blog!!!

Wow....One year!! I think I must be coming up on a year sometime soon too. I know I started mine after Ella's first birthday but I will have to check. I know I was reading them for a long time before finally getting the guts to start my own.

Anyway....I don't know what "I" would do without "YOUR" blog. I look forward to it always and can't wait to see beautiful pictures of sweet Emmie. I truly feel like you are one of my dearest friends and that just amazes because we have never met in person. Maybe we get to know more about each other intimately because we are writing????? Anyway, it is all of us in blogland that have benefitted from you having your blog!! Happy 1 year anniversary. Oh...and Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby too!!!

I'm so glad you kept on blogging. I remember when you started. It doesn't seem like a year already. I remember the first time I seen Em's picture and I can even remember my first comment. I'm so glad I call you a dear friend. Hugs and much love

I remember the first time I heard about blogging. I thought who in the world would spend time doing that and who in the world would read it! I don't know what I would do without my daily blog readings!

Thank God you started blogging...otherwise my dear friend we would never have known the other exists, and I couldn't imagine a world without all the wonderful people I have met through this blogging world. Isn't it crazy, here we are all the way across the globe and yet connected in so many ways. I hope we shall still be when our little ones are not so little anymore...and one day I hope we do actually get to meet.
I love love your little girl and it brings me joy to read about everything she is doing. BTW that is one great picture of her, any part of her body that's still clean??

Happy blogiversary!! I think I'm coming up to my 3rd year soon (although I don't think anyone actually read it in the first two...). Yikes, where does the time go? Your blog is wonderful and inspirational. I love this little community that forms when people let other people have a glimpse into their lives. :-)

We're so super thankful you started your daily chronicles of Em and crew...and, you're RIGHT. When we get together someday, it may be best if it's NOT a lunch date.

I'm UNBELIEVABLY grateful that you continued blogging! Your blog is one of my main stand-bys for inspiration and smiles. Marissa and Emilia are so close in age. it's just so nice to be close to people, and not ever having met. That tiny little extra chromosome has certainly made and AMAZINGLY wonderful impact on my life as well. Thanks for picking up your blogging 1 year ago. :-)

oh my goodness, look at that messy face! I love it. Thank you for starting this blog and reaching out to us so early on! See Emmi just excites me for the future when Kaelyn has fun siblings to love on her.
