Garbage Picker

OK this is what I get for trying to catch up on some of my bloggy friends! Look at her! Not only does she look like she's been living on the streets, but she's eating out of the garbage!!!

Let me explain.

I had just thrown a mostly eaten bunch of grapes into the garbage. I found them on the counter in a bag. They didn't look very appetizing. Miss Emmie was taking her morning look at herself in the garbage can. It's become her personal mirror. Well I guess she saw the grapes and went for it!

And yes I'm proud of my garbage picker! Why?

Because the grapes were in a plastic bag. She had to take them out of the bag in order to eat them. And when I caught her eating them, I realized she wasn't sticking the whole grape in to her mouth. She was biting it in half. Smart kid!

She must have been paying attention to me when I told her she could choke on a whole grape, LOL

Meanwhile as I'm writing this she is playing at my feet under the dining room table. Repeatedly banging her head on the chair and chewing on a wire!

Next lesson, "How To Avoid A Concussion And Possible Electrocution"

Now she's playing peek a boo with the tablecloth, think she's trying to get my attention?????

me time over... BYE BYE

P.S , she just ripped my cookbook cover in half... I kid you not!!!

I would be happy to send you a few of Ella's outgrown clothes....did you lose all of Emmie's in the flood??? :) This weekend I was at a scrapbook store all 3 days so daddy was in charge of the kids. At one point my mom stopped by to say hi and told me that Ella looked like a little orphan. Her hair was trashed and she was still in her pj's at dinner time. Kind of reminds me of this picture of Emmie. I am so glad that there is someone else out there whose little one is becoming A NIGHTMARE!!!

At first it looked like a lizard hanging out of her mouth! Eewwww... She is sooo funny! And you are going to have to really watch that little monkey. You are going to be one tired woman in the coming years!

I thought that was a lizard too!! I wondered why on earth you had a lizard in the trash. lol!!

Shes one smart cookie for pulling those grapes outta the bag and biting them in half. BUT, it does sound like you need to work on escape skills.

Just today Marissa was mysteriously trapped into a corner by our dining room chair. lol!

This post made me laugh and just nod my head in agreement with EVERYTHING! Oh, I can just see your beautiful peapod investigating all that is in her universe. Isn't it amazing.♥ She's growing up, Stephanie. :)

I have a garbage picker at my house. All crumbs on the floor, anything in a reachable garbage can ends up everywhere. Glad to hear I am not the only feeling like I am losing a battle everywhere I turn - there is Carter and another mess. I guess it gives me something to do - as if I didn't have enough. Ripping paper is Carter's specialty!! Love your post (and your previous posts - what a special week for your family!)
