Just A Thought...

We all have come together and raised over 10,000 for Olga. That is a miracle! Plain and simple.

Next month is Olga's fifth birthday. Do you have a child that is five or older? Do you remember how amazing turning five was for them. I was just looking through some photographs today of Olivia's fifth birthday. She thought she was such a big girl.  It was such a celebration. The house was full of little girls and friends  and family, noise and laughter, balloons, wrapping paper and cake. And after the party my "big girl" promptly passed out.

Olga obviously won't be having a party next month. And turning five when you are an orphan in an EE country and have  Down syndrome, isn't really a reason to celebrate. By the age of five, orphans are leaving the baby houses for the institutions. Yeah, Happy Birthday!!

OK, don't leave me here, I'm not asking for money this time. Of course if you've got the urge to donate... go for it!!

What Olga really needs right now, is a family. She needs someone to commit to her. In order to achieve that I think we need to pray.  So that's all I'm asking for. Just a prayer for Olga to have a family by Christmas.

And this time I'm asking that you Please, leave a comment telling me that you will storm heaven with your prayers! I have never asked for comments, but I'd really like to read your comments on this. It just makes me feel good. And it is inspiring to me and to others.

I know Olga's family is out there.Nothing is more powerful than the power of prayer!

It's just a thought..Are you in??

I'm in! I may even be praying a little selfishly...that she could be mine.....if she weren't so far away, and if I didn't have to leave Gavin for so long, I'd be going for her as soon as I could! I pray she is with her forever family very soon! Love, Hugs and Prayers!!!

I've been praying for Olga and Celine constantly. It hurts to have them both so close to transfer. I'm just hoping Celine hasn't already been transferred as she turned 5 in Oct.

Standing with you. And we need to be passing this birthday info along to friends and Sunday school classes and anyone we can think of. Somebody knows that family. They just need to get the word.

Olga is definitely in my prayers. I've just been remembering what a great God we have and how He can do SO much more than we can imagine. He cares especially for those little ones facing the institutions.

You are doing awesome in sharing Olga btw!

I am definitely in!! Heather and I were just talking about Olga today. I told her that I just know there is a family out there for her. If Julia can find a family, Olga can find a family. I just know it....there are too many hearts bleeding for this precious girl. "Dear Lord, please lead the family with an open heart for Olga directly to Reeces Rainbow. She needs them NOW!!!"

I am praying...what a wonderful Christmas gift that would be not just for her but for all of us knowing that this sweet little girl has finally got her forever family couldn't ask for more. The thought of an institution is scaring me so much, which I could just scoop her up. God know I would if I were eligible to. Will be storming heaven with those prayers. This girl WILL find a family! Her donations are not going to vain thats for sure. God has a plan
