A Prayer Request For Jax

OK, I am determined to post everyday, no matter what. Emilia has PT and ST in like an hour and I'm no where near ready for any other people besides my family to see my house. But that will have to wait.

Our little friend Jax will be having surgery today. He will be getting a trach. I can only imagine the stress level in his family today. I'm of course asking for prayers and to keep Jax and Lacey, his Mom and Ray, his Dad in your thoughts. I always felt that God considers good thoughts as a type of prayer. So even if you're running around as I definitely will be today, keep Jax in your thoughts. He is a fighter for sure, a true wonder and miracle. And he has wrapped himself around my heart.
.
Lacey, it's going to be OK!!. Love You!

Thank you so much. Like I've said a lot in the past couple of days, its my friends, near and far, that carry me through everything with Jax.

He's in my prayers, with only positive thoughts and positive energy going his way :)

Very nice and thoughtful post Stephanie...but then, that is the kind of person you are. I was just talking to my step mom this morning who like to follow all of my friends blogs too and I was telling her how I think you are one of the most precious people I know!!

My prayers have been with them all day as well...Lacey is one strong mommy! And us moms need others to be there for all of us! THanks for posting this!

Forgot to add a little bit about the SPIO vest...it is not weighted, but it is made out of a spandex/lycra material...the back is like a wetsuit material and it basically holds all the muscles together and makes the child feel secure in the middle...It does a better job explaining how it works on website...Brayden is pretty darn strong, but doesn't have all the coordination down, so after wearing the vest...it TRULY is amazing in his strength and confidence...HIS PT has seen wonderful things happen with these vests and his OT is extremely excited too! I didn't know anything about them either...until about 1 month ago...we started using a used one at PT and saw such a difference...www.SPIOworks.com I will keep you updated with how he does with it.
